For your specific check-in time, please refer to your Welcome Pack email.

We operate a self-check in system so you can simply arrive and start your stay. Most sat-navs will find us easily using the postcode TN26 3DS. Please use the gate with the large heart shaped sign which reads “Longberry Farm” the gate will be closed but not locked (please close the gate behind you) you can then proceed down the lane straight into the car park.

We also operate a self check-out system, so on the day of departure simply vacate the site by the time stated in your Welcome Pack email.

We provide laundry bags in the tents and our cleaning crew would be ever so grateful if you could please strip the beds that have been used before you leave, placing the sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases inside the laundry bag (not the mattress protectors though please as these are stripped and cleaned separately) There is a separate laundry bin the washroom for used towels.

The Site

Kitchen Area

In the kitchen and dining area you will find everything you need for cooking / eating / drinking. You will also find complementary tea & coffee here and appropriate cleaning materials as well as a fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave and a gas BBQ.

ALL rubbish is to go in the large green and orange bin at the entrance gate please, this gets collected and recycled for us off site so there is no need to separate the rubbish.

Fresh, mains, drinking water can be found from the tap on the outside of the kitchen or the taps outside the washroom and we provide large water dispensers which can be filled for convenience. There is no need to buy water in plastic bottles.

Washroom

Inside the washroom you will find the shower and toilet/sink along with the toiletries and towels that we provide.  When showering, please be careful not to direct the shower head at the shower curtain as this will result in a very wet floor!

Please ensure showers are turned off when you have finished with them. Hot water is available for use all day, please let us know if you notice any problem with the hot water.

To operate the basin taps simply push the tops, they will automatically turn off after a few seconds to save water.

To avoid blockages, please only put toilet paper down the toilets. Hand towels, sanitary items and nappies should ALL be put in the bins provided

We provide washing up liquid, sponges and tea towels which can be found in the box beneath the sink.

Campfires

There is a large communal firepit in the middle of the site. The log store is located just behind The Old Stable and we provide all kindling, logs and firelighters for the duration of your stay, simply help yourself to what you need.

Please ensure campfires are put out and not still burning when you leave site to avoid any fire risks.

Please take great care when using the fire pit and supervise children at all times.

Extras

Additional blankets and hot water bottles can be found in the kitchen area, if you use any of these please leave them in your accommodation unit when leaving so we know they need to be cleaned. Please be careful when filling up hot water bottles, never use boiling water and ensure you use the cover provided to prevent burns

Security

We cannot accept responsibility for any valuables left on site or in cars, please take any valuables with you when you leave the site.

Dogs

We are dog friendly here but please be mindful that there is livestock in the surrounding fields and there are gaps in the surrounding hedgerows where they could get out. We do suggest keeping your dog on the lead at all times and please always pick up after your dog.

The village pub is dog friendly allowing dogs in both the bar areas and the gardens.

There is a fantastic dog groomer just outside the village for pampering your pooch you can drop the dogs off for a morning or afternoon which will leave you free to do any not-quite-so-dog-friendly activities in the area (booking is essential)

The Secret Spa

During your stay you will have private, unlimited use of the hot tub. This is located next to the washroom and we provide extra towels for use with the hot tub.

Hot Tub Rules

A full and comprehensive list of the hot tub rules are stated in the terms and conditions section of this document. We strongly recommend you read these carefully as use of the hot tub is strictly at your own risk and Longberry Farm Glamping Ltd accepts absolutely no liability whatsoever.

As we have to change over the water and clean the hot tub between each set of guests, it is possible that the water might not be fully up to temperature upon arrival but it is usually warm enough to use by around 6pm in the evening and will then stay hot and ready for you to use at any time for the duration of your stay.

Hot Tub Instructions

How to remove the lid

Flip lid in half

Slide the lid into the metal holding cradle

Hot Tub Controls

The button marked ① controls the jets, there are 3 settings

1 – Off      |      2 – Gentle Bubbles      |      3 – Full Jets

To move between the settings simply press button ① until you reach the preferred setting.

The light can be used by pressing the button with this symbol ☼

The large grey dial on the side of the spa diverts the jets, this is best used when the jets are not running so use button ① to turn them off before adjusting

The smaller grey dial turns the air bubbles on and off as shown by the arrow on the dial

When you’ve finished

Press button ① to turn the jets off. They also shut off automatically after about 20 minutes

The hot tub has a self-cleaning cycle so will automatically switch on to setting 2 at set intervals. If it is in the middle of one of these cleaning cycles, you cannot manually switch it off.

Lift the lid back on top of the hot tub using 2 people, one at each side of the lid.

Flip the lid to close it again, this helps keep the water warm and keeps debris out so it’s ready for you the next time you want to use it.

Things to Note

We have to check and clean the hot tub on a daily basis, we will endeavour to do this whilst you are not using it so as not to disturb you.

Buttons marked ② and ③ do not do anything

The Hot Tub is designed for a maximum of 6 people, please do not exceed this as it runs the risk of the water levels dropping too low for the motors to work properly which may cause them to burn out. We reserve the right to charge for any damages to the hot tub.

If you have any problems or questions at all, please contact us on 07886 099425
