What do I need to bring with me?

Food & Clothing. That’s it. Really! Guests often comment “that you really have thought of everything” so you can pack light and enjoy your journey as well as your stay.

Do you have heating in your tents?

The tents have very warm duvets and we have lots of blankets and hot water bottles available which is enough to keep most people warm. We do not have wood burners or electric heating inside the tents. The Old Stable however does have electricity and an electric heater.

What if it rains?

If the weather decides to turn typically British we have a large covered area with plenty of seating. We have a large BBQ here too so you can still cook and eat whatever the weather. This area also works well as a shady escape from the midday sun.

What cooking facilities do you have?

There is a large, 4 burner gas BBQ on the covered patio area and we provide plenty of gas for this, the BBQ also has a side burner like a hob and we also have a microwave, kettle and toaster in the kitchenette. We also provide all cooking equipment including saucepans, BBQ utensils etc.

Do you have a fridge?

Is there drinking water on site?

Absolutely. We have 3 taps which provide a mains water supply. Please do not bring water in plastic bottles, we are all too aware of the damage single use plastics are doing!

The alternative is Ashford International which is a 15 minute drive and is a much larger station. There is a bust stop in the village of Bethersden but this is still 1 mile and a good 20 minute walk away.

This can be found in our Terms & Conditions. We strongly suggest that you have travel insurance in place in case of unforeseen circumstances.
